Present continuous правила

Present Continuous – це час англійської мови. Він використовується для того, щоб описати процес або дію, яка відбувається зараз (в даний момент).

Present continuous вживання

Present Continuos використовується в таких випадках:

Для опису дії, яка відбувається або не відбувається в даний момент.

Часто в такому випадку вживаються наступні допоміжні дієслова: now, right now, at the moment.

Наприклад: He is doing his homework now. – Він робить домашнє завдання зараз.

Для позначення довготривалих дій, які вже відбуваються протягом деякого періоду і ще не є завершеними.

Наприклад: I am studying to become a doctor. – Я вчуся, щоб стати лікарем.

Також Present Continuos може використовуватись для позначення дій або планів, які мають (або не мають) відбутися в майбутньому. При цьому треба вказати час події.

Наприклад: I’m going on a date tonight. – Я йду на побачення сьогодні ввечері.

Present Continuous використовується, коли співрозмовник хоче висловити своє негативне відношення до дій, які повторюються у теперішньому часі.

При цьому характерним є використання слів always та constantly між допоміжним дієсловом та дієсловом з інговим (-ing) закінченням.

Наприклад: She is constantly talking on a phone. – Вона постійно розмовляє по телефону.

Present continuous стверджувальні речення

(Affirmative sentences)

Щоб утворити стверджувальне речення в теперішньому тривалому часі потрібно додати допоміжне дієслово am, is або are (одна з форм дієслова to be) після особи, яка виконує діє, та до дієслова додати закінчення -ing.

Формула: іменник+am/is/are+дієслово+ing.

I am (I’m) reading a book now.

You are (you’re) reading a book now.

He, she, it is (he’s, she’s, it’s) reading a book now.

We are (we’re) reading a book now.

You are (you’re) reading a book now.

They are (they’re) reading a book now.

Present continuous заперечення

(Negative sentences)

Для того, щоб утворити заперечні речення у теперішньому тривалому часі, потрібно додати після допоміжного дієслова am, is або are частку not та дієслово із закінченням -ing.

Формула: іменник+am/is/are+not+дієслово+ing

I am not (I’m not) watching TV at the moment.

You are not (aren’t) watching TV at the moment.

He, she, it is not (isn’t) watching TV at the moment.

We are not (aren’t) watching TV at the moment.

You are not (aren’t) watching TV at the moment.

They are not (aren’t) watching TV at the moment.

Питальні речення (Interrogative sentences)

Щоб утворити питальне речення в теперішньому тривалому часі, потрібно допоміжне дієслово am/is/are поставити на початок речення.

Формула: Am/is/are+ іменник+ дієслово+ing.

Am I sleeping now?

Are you sleeping now?

Is he, she, it sleeping now?

Are we sleeping now?
